Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. She has a mother who is English and her father is Nigerian. She was born in a south London council estate and at the age of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She studied acting in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. During her time at the school, she was a part-time actor in several stage productions such as The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. In the years since she has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. Her popularity resulted in her being cast as Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in the six-episode series Trexx & Flipside as Ollie. She played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy made in the year 2008. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport in the ABC Drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just 2 weeks at The CW and then it came to an end. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe, who had been a series regular in the past two seasons, would be leaving the show after a guest-appearance in the premiere episode of the new season. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star as Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl in the past, and Goldberg has also appeared alongside Madekwe on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for the Gemini Award, is a member of the large Hamilton family. Her four older brothers were also present: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball parks because the four brothers who were athletic played hockey and baseball and basketball in winter and summer. Ashley could never walk, but she danced. When she turned two-and-a-half she began Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley was enthralled by dance after this. Ashley was a dancer who competed throughout the various divisions until she finished high school. She was a competitor in ballet, jazz, tap as well as pointe and acrobatics. She was crowned the top soloist awards at all of the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
